Cloud Hosting : website hosting revolution

Cloud Hosting technology can be considered as an advance form of networking where multiple servers are interconnected with each other implementing Load Balancing technique within a datacenter so that they can perform to their peek. Your website will never face any downtime as you have multiple server resources at your disposal. Cloud technology combines all available resources and makes network highly redundant and FAST.
Cloud technology is hi-fi concept almost all webhosting service providers are trying to implement this technology for their hosting plans so as to ensure maximum uptime guarantee.
Usually when we host our website with any webhosting service provider, all website data supporting files are placed on webserver . we can use allotted server resources which are responsible for serving our webpages to webusers but is master server is overloaded with thousands of hosting accounts then it starts to run slow as it have to serve lacks of request simultaneously thus your webpages will not load fast enough, worst case can be that your website wont be available for browsing, this was the major issue with traditional webhosting service provider but using cloud technology they can offer you excellent uptime guarantee and server performance. With cloud technology – as the needs of your website grow, the cloud automatically reacts and allocates more resources from the cloud of servers to your website thus your website will ensure 100% uptime and your website will be online even if you have thousands of visitors browsing your website at a given point of time.

GAudi : Google Audio Search Engine

gogle Gaudi GAudi : Google Audio Search Engine

  GAudi Google Audio Search Engine

Few months ago Google Labs have launched Google Audio indexing (GAudi) an experimental audio search engine, using which you can search audio files using text. It had used latest technology in which you need to enter search text at “search within video”  that it will search for exact spoken words in video files which are currently located at youTube Politicians channel.  Its just a experimental search engine in which Google has taken the audio tracks of YouTube videos of politicians, and had automatically converted it to text for search capability.

Till now videos were mostly searched on basis of metadata which was connected to it, such as text associated with video file, its title, H1 tag, anchor text link pointing to video page etc… now with this advance feature of google, any spoken words within videos will add to the keyword content associated with them, becoming searchable.

google labs GAudi : Google Audio Search EngineGoogle is considered as a Universal Search Engine which is specialized in vertical search information sources such as Video search, image search, news search, local search, and other results which are showing up in search engine results pages. You can expect to see video results appearing more and more in the blended search results as time goes by.

Dual-Core Processor Dedicated Server

You must have seen many dedicated server provider advertise their server as Dual Core servers but many of us don’t know what exactly are these Dual Core processors. Chip manufacturer like AMD and Intel have started implementing this dual core technology for their latest series of processors.
‘Dual Core processors’ as the name suggest are special type of processors having 2 processors clubbed together forming a single processor which will offer you optimum performance. Its a advance technology used for building processors which are capable of providing twice computing power as compare to a single processor.

Dual Core Processor Dedicated ServerIn traditional single processor based computers every application that you were running  on your computer was created as a process which was assigned with one thread of space inside your CPU using this advance dual-core technology each processor works independently thus work load is divided into two parts so you can have more application running at the given point of time and all applications will work smoothly without affecting server performance.
A dual-core processor would be best option if you are using it on your webserver as your webservers send out webpages to all requesting visitors so using dual-core processor you can provide each visitor an individual thread which will get distributed on these two inbuilt processors ,thus there wont be much load on your dedicated server and will render webpages much faster.

Dual-Core Processor Dedicated Server

When you check for system configuration Dual core processors are shown-up in most operating systems (Windows, Linux) as two possessors. If your OS is licensed by “per processor” it can pose as a problem but its nothing to worry about….

Choosing Laptop screen : Matte or Glossy

There are many factors which are to be considered before placing an order for your preferred  laptop, one of them is type of laptop screen. When it comes for selecting screen for your laptop, you have two choices Glossy screen laptops and Matte screen laptops, it becomes difficult to decide which screen is most perfect for you.  Both screen types have their prob and cons.

latest laptop Choosing Laptop screen : Matte or GlossyA Glossy screen laptop have a reflective coating underneath the screen. Due to this reflective nature you get higher degrees of brightness and contrast for your laptop screen. You also have good color depth on glossy screen thus this type of laptops are preferred by many webmasters. However, due to reflective nature of glossy screen laptops its screen may get polluted from other high intensity light sources which can cause eye strain. There are issues where some manufacturers have used glossy displays to hide use of cheap LCDs, actually a glossy displays can hide many, but not all weaknesses in substandard LCD screens. Thus you can see most cheaper laptops have glossy screens as a standard so that they can cut down manufacturing cost. Usually you  will have Fingerprints and smudges shown up on glossy screen laptops which doesn’t looks good.
Your other option is Matte screen laptops which lower, diffusing contrast ratio which are good and don’t have glare issue, you can use matte screen laptops even in bright light, you wont have any glare issue using it. You don’t have to worry about cleaning your fingerprints and smudges as they are barely noticeable on matte screens. Thus matte screened laptops are better then those with glossy screens.

LED based internet connection

College of Engineering at Boston University are trying to develop a system which would allow you to connect to internet using LED lightbulb. According to them using low-power LED technology your computer can be receive data at speed of upto 10mbps, it would be using super fast flickering technology [ similar to infrared signals ] which is invisible to human naked eyes. They are planning to combine LED bulbs with wireless networking technology, allowing for nearly complete ubiquity of wireless access points.Internet connection would be done using LED-based communications network which would also provides light – all over existing power lines with low power consumption, high reliability and no electromagnetic interference.

In the next few years you would see that LED lighting would become the dominant form of light source which is already being used in fibre optic connections. LED lightning would be in digital form (i.e is either on or off), thus it  can be switched on and off at very fast speeds, This flickering action would be picked up by the devices and converted into data without any electromagnetic interference. Using LED for a source for lightning would surely cut-down enery bills as this technology uses low power technology and thus will help in reducing power consumption and carbon emissions .

Main disadvantage of this technology is that the light can only be used as a connection in the same room where all your computers are placed as light cannot penetrate walls, so this may lead to some innovative new network deployment.
