Google Chrome 2.0 : Is it better ?

Few days ago Google introduce its webbrowser Chrome which wasn’t a impressive product hence they are trying their level best to make it popular as they are…. Chrome 1.0 was lacking few important features like form auto-fill, a full-screen mode, and extensions etc.. thus to close this gap they have worked hard and came up with its latest version Chrome 2.0 adding few new features like full-screen mode, form auto-fill, and the ability to remove thumbnails from the “New Tab” page, along with a whole host of bug fixes and overall performance improvements trying to make it a better product.

Chrome 2.0 looks and acts exactly like the previous version; all newly added features are subtle that without Google’s announcement, it’s likely they would have gone unnoticed by many of us. Though it have added new features they are not much impressive as when you opt for Full-screen mode by pressing F11 all of the browser controls disappear: no tabs, no toolbar, nothing also you can’t enter new addresses to visit. You can’t access your bookmarks, except from the Chrome start page, hence its not a useful change they have tried.

Google claims that such Full-screen mode is designed for viewing videos and presentations in full-screen, but today most video or presentation player already provides such full-screen feature hence its not that unique and wonderful feature for webmasters.

The other new features like Autofill is not a new invention many other browsers have had provided it many years ago.
Chrome 2.0 provide you ability to delete thumbnails from the “New Tab” page but its seems that its having a bug as when you delete one it will remove all of your thumbnails, also, you can’t rearrange them.
Only positive side of  Chrome 2.0 is in its performance. It zips through the most complex Web applications with ease, and never seems to get bogged down. This new browser runs at lightning speed, to be honest, I am not sure about it as personally I haven’t noticed speed difference though.
