Mozilla has unveiled the alpha release of its mobile Firefox browser, codenamed Fennec. Currently its in alpha version and is only available for Nokia N810 internet tablets thus not too many people can test it at the moment, if you want to try this you need to have test Nokia N810 cell phone.
Fennec is full-featured mobile Web browsers which is designed specifically for advance mobile devices using which you can browse internet easily. Fennec mobile web browser have a very useful “ Tool-Bar” you can consider this bar as smarter URL box which can be used as keyword searches tool for your URL history and bookmarks, thus it makes mobile browsing much easier and will minimize manual input to a great extent.
Fennec uses Gecko, the same core HTML rendering engine which is used in desktop Firefox, it have full JavaScript capability and AJAX support making Fennec a powerful interactive web browser for mobile devices.
Fennec have and will support fingertip touch and will interact accordingly, the browser is designed to use full screen of your device for content and all other control buttons and URL bar is hidden so that you can get maximum view space, Hidden URL bar and buttons can be discovered with a single swipe of your finger thus you can retrieve URL and navigation buttons easily and can browse website even on small screens.
If you don’t have Nokia N810 and you still want to play with this new mobile webbrowser ‘Fennec’ then you just need to install it on your home desktop PC having(Windows, Mac OS X , Linux OS ) Most important feature of this mobile brower is that – its will display maximize content even on small screen by auto-hiding controls and URL bar, also it have zoom in and out tool which can be very useful to get detailed information.
