GAudi Google Audio Search Engine
Few months ago Google Labs have launched Google Audio indexing (GAudi) an experimental audio search engine, using which you can search audio files using text. It had used latest technology in which you need to enter search text at “search within video” that it will search for exact spoken words in video files which are currently located at youTube Politicians channel. Its just a experimental search engine in which Google has taken the audio tracks of YouTube videos of politicians, and had automatically converted it to text for search capability.
Till now videos were mostly searched on basis of metadata which was connected to it, such as text associated with video file, its title, H1 tag, anchor text link pointing to video page etc… now with this advance feature of google, any spoken words within videos will add to the keyword content associated with them, becoming searchable.
Google is considered as a Universal Search Engine which is specialized in vertical search information sources such as Video search, image search, news search, local search, and other results which are showing up in search engine results pages. You can expect to see video results appearing more and more in the blended search results as time goes by.
