Recently Twitter launched its first phase of Twitter Verified Accounts program using which all known celebrities, musicians, athletes, actors, public officials and other public agencies on the service would be able to display a “verified account” button on their Twitter pages giving them their real identity.
For instance celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Oprah now carry their own button on their twitter page. Those who wish to apply for their twitter verified status can visit following link : http://twitter.com/help/verified and get your account twitter verified.
