Backup Procedure :
mysqldump –opt wpdatabase | gzip -9 > wpdatabase.sql.gz

Restore procedure :
gunzip wpdatabase.sql.gz
mysql -u rootusername -p **** wpdatabase < wpdatabase.sql
That’s all you have secure your wordpress databases by having its backup copy which you can restore it later using above restore command.
